My wheelhouse is special operations recruitment, assessment, selection, and training. Regarding the vetting and training of SEALs, Green Berets, Rangers (from the 75th Ranger Regiment), and Marine Raiders, it’s been an ongoing part of my life’s work; I’ve written six books on the subject. So when I came across this first in a series of articles about the SOF assessment and selection process in the journal Task and Purpose, I became intrigued.
